Gabrielle Boulianne
Senior Scientist

Gabrielle completed her undergraduate studies in the Dept. Biology at McGill University and a PhD in the Dept. Molecular Biophysics at the University of Toronto where she developed a process for the production of functional human/mouse chimaeric antibodies.  Gabrielle then joined the Jan Lab at UC San Francisco where her passion for flies and neurobiology began.  Gabrielle then returned to Toronto where she is currently a Senior Scientist in the Program in Developmental and Stem Cell Biology at Sick Kids Hospital and a Professor in the Dept of Molecular Genetics at the University of Toronto.  Gabrielle is also the Associate Chief, Research Career Development and Director of the Research Training Center at Sick Kids and holds a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Molecular and Developmental Neruobiology.
