Welcome to Later Life Learning (LLL)
LLL is a non-profit educational program - it's current membership numbers over 1,600.
In 1981 a number of individuals joined with the University of Toronto to form a group that sponsors lecture series for retirees.
A volunteer Board of Directors manages LLL, ensuring that 10-week lecture series are offered twice a year in the winter and autumn. 2019-2020 LLL Board of Directors.
LLL is self-sustaining, paying its own way and making generous donations to Innis College Scholarship Fund as well as other projects as they arise.
With the exception of one of the fall lecture series, lectures are held at Innis College, Town Hall. We wish to acknowledge this land on which the University of Toronto operates. For thousands of years it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
