This ‘by invitation’ event is an opportunity for government and industry partners to meet with the primary researchers on the current Major Collaborative Initiative Project: A $75 registration recovery fee is required at the time of registration for all guests. Speakers are asked to register (n/c).

All interested government and industry members are invited to register for the 9th annual meeting of the Innovations Systems Research Network. This year, over 80 members of the MCRI II project will be meeting in Vancouver to discuss the progress of the City-Region Initiative. This is the second Major Collaborative Research Initiative awarded by SSHRC for this group.

Itinerary
This members only meeting on beautiful Bowen Island begins with an early shuttle to the ferry for out-of-town members who will be joined by the locals for a quick pre-meeting breakfast at the Island Pacific School grounds.
First item of the day is the presentations from five graduate students working on the MCRI II project. A record number of 17 entries were received this year from across Canada. Agenda
We have planned two concurrent sessions over the working lunch:
1) Peer-to-Peer session on interviews
2) Research Advisory Group meeting with the MCRI II Management Committee
Out of town members are scheduled to leave Vancouver on Sunday, May 6th.
