Support: HTML Attachments via PC PINE Applies to: PCPine 3.95 Operating Systems: Windows 95 Problem Symptoms: Students are finding it quite awkward to save an HTML attachment received via PC Pine in the Public Access Facilities and then launch it through Netscape. SOLUTION By making a small edition to a file called 'Mailcap.sam', HTML attachments can be directly launched from Pine. First, rename the file to 'Mailcap'. Second, edit 'Mailcap'. At the very end of the file where it states "#You can add other entries ...", type in: text/html; "C:\path-to-netscape.exe" %s Your 'Mailcap' file should look something like this: #PC MAILCAP SAMPLE FILE ****DELETE OR COMMENT OUT ALL OTHER LINES**** #You can add other entries below for other MIME types... text/html;"C:\Program Files\Netscape\navigator301\Program\netscape.exe" %s   Third, save the file. Finally, give it a test by sending yourself an HTML attachment.
