The Office of
International Surgery does not provide consultation services for patients
nor do we offer employment for foreign medical graduates in Canada.
We can help arrange electives
for Canadian doctors and medical students abroad, so if you are interesting
in attracting Canadian Doctors to visit your country, please contact
us.

OBJECTIVES:
- To apply Canadian talent and resources
to reduce the suffering caused by injury and surgical disease around
the world.
- To develop the culture of academic
surgery around the world by encouraging and supporting partnerships
between investigators here and abroad.
- To give doctors, health care practitioners
and our partners overseas the knowledge and skills to reduce the human
cost of injury everywhere.
- To make significant reduction in
human suffering worldwide.
VISION:
To become the
leading centre for surgical research in international health by 2010.
