Day 2 (Canadian Report by Water Ski Canada) CANADIANS FLY AT WORLD JUNIOR WATER SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS Both Guillaume Pare (Sherbrooke, Quebec) and Clint Baikie (Campbell River, BC) qualified for the men's finals in today's jump preliminaries at the 1996 World Junior Water Ski Championships. Pare set a personal best with a jump of 45 metres (148 feet) and goes into the finals in 4th place. Baikie follows at 5th place with a qualifying distance of 42.4 metres (139 feet). The women failed to qualify for the jump finals.
