CANADIAN SKIERS READY FOR WORLDS


The best of the best in Canadian water skiing are ready and wanting another
victory at the World Water Ski Championships, taking place in Medellin,
Colombia this week.    The Canadian team won the World Championship title
twice in the past 6 years, in 1991 and  1993.

Watch for exciting results from overall specialists Jaret Llewellyn
(Innisfail, AB), Kreg Llewellyn (Innisfail, AB) and Kim de Macedo (Shawnigan
Lake, BC).  

Event specialist Susi Graham (Kitchener, ON), who won the Cafe de Colombia
World Cup Slalom title earlier this month, will be competing for top spot in
the women's slalom event.  Slalom skier Drew Ross (Belleville, ON) and
jumper Jim Clunie (Tisdale, SK) will add to the excitement as the Canadian
team goes for gold!
