CANADIAN SKIERS BUSY AT WORLDS

The Canadian Water Ski Team has a busy day underway at the World Water Ski
Championships in Medellin, Colombia.

Earlier today, the preliminary rounds of the men's slalom ended. Drew Ross
(Belleville, ON) had a spectacular run, rounding 2 buoys at a 10.75 metre
line (56 buoys). Kreg Llewellyn (Innisfail, AB) also skied an awesome run,
scoring 3 buoys at an 11.25 metre line (51 buoys). These performances
earned both Ross and Llewellyn places in the men's slalom final, scheduled
for Sunday morning.

In the women's slalom event, Susi Graham (Kitchener, ON) had an unfortunate
early fall on her 13 metre pass and therefore will not qualify for the
finals. Kim de Macedo (Shawnigan Lake, BC) narrowly missed qualifying for
the finals with a run of 2 buoys at a 12 metre line (44 buoys).

The men's trick event will complete today's schedule. Jaret and Kreg
Llewellyn (Innisfail, AB) will both be competing in this event.

Stay tuned for more exciting results from our Canadian skiers!
