Junior Canadian Team member Karissa Wedd of Port Coquitlam, BC is 
currently in second place heading into the finals. The girls jump 
finals will take place on Sunday. The boys preliminary jump finals

In HALIFAX, Nova Scotia at the 1998 Canadian National Water Ski
Championships, the sun was shining and so did the skiers.

Ryan Dodd (AB) won the Boys 3 trick event by a narrow margin over Nova
Scotia skier Jeff Flinn. Ryan's score for the gold was 5530 points, 
where Jeff's score was 5130 points. Ryan's silver medal in the jump 
event with a distance of 39.4 metres secured the Boys 3 overall title 
for him. The winner of the Boys 3 jump was Tyler Copeland (MB) who 
jumped a distance of 44.9 metres.
