Extreme Barefoot and Wakeboard Nationals

Over 100 of Canada's best wakeboarders and barefoot water skiers took 
to the water today at River Bluffs Park in Cambridge, Ontario. In 
front of a crowd of over 4,000 spectators Dave Tsuyuki (ON) took the 
men's wakeboard competition with an overall score of 1802 points.  
Dave finished well ahead of second place Jamie Rizzuto (BC)  who 
finished the event with 1769 pts. Tiffany Finley (ON) won the women's 
wakeboard crown.  Don Baker (MB) was stoked for the men's barefoot 
competition using ideal conditions to not only win the overall title 
but also achieve a new Canadian record with a jump distance of 24.5 
meters. Karyn Scarpa (ON) won the women's barefoot competition. 

Next year's Extreme Water Ski Canadian Championships will take place 
in Kamloops, BC.
