NEW PRO TOUR JUMP RECORD SET IN CHARLESTON

Freddy Krueger (USA) set a new pro tour jump record of 65.2 metres 
(214 feet) this weekend in Charleston, South Carolina.  Canadian 
Jaret Llewellyn (Innisfail, AB) placed 12th in the jump event with a 
distance of 59.7 metres (196 feet).  Llewellyn went on to capture 2nd 
place in the Bonus Jump event with a distance of 63.1 metres (207 
feet).

Canadian slalom skiers Susi Graham (Kitchener, ON) and Doug Ross
(Belleville, ON) also competed this weekend.  Graham placed 5th in the
women's slalom with a run of .5 bouys at a 12 metre line (42.5 
buoys).  In the men's slalom, Ross placed 15th, rounding 4.5 buoys at 
a 11.25 metre line (52.5 buoys).

Jeff Heer (Richmond, BC) was the top finishing Canadian in the men's
wakeboarding event.  Heer placed 10th in the wakeboard final with a 
score of 59.14.  Other Canadian wakeboarders competing in this event 
included Chad Sharpe (Cloverdale, BC), Dave Tsuyuki (Toronto, ON), 
and Jamie Rizzuto (Rossland, BC).
