GRAHAM & LLEWELLYN POISED TO TAKE WORLD CUP TITLES

With the last World Cup stop scheduled for this weekend in Milan,
Italy, Canadian water skiers Susi Graham (Kitchener, ON) and Jaret
Llewellyn (Innisfail, AB) are the current leaders in the race for
their respective World Cup Titles.

Susi Graham, winner of the 1997 World Cup Slalom Title, has a strong
hold on the lead position in the women's slalom. A veteran of the
Canadian National Team, Graham has been a member of two World
Championship Teams (1991 & 1993), and is a former World Record Holder
in slalom. This season, Graham won the prestigious US Masters, the
World Cup stop in Moscow, and the Teesside British Masters. The only
way second place-sitter Toni Neville (AUS) can overtake Susi is if
Toni wins and Susi is 10th in Italy this weekend. If not, Susi is
the World Cup Slalom Champion.

Similarly, former World Record Holder Jaret Llewellyn leads the World
Cup jump standings by 70 points. Jaret has been a member of two World
Championship Teams (1991 & 1993), and was the Jump Champion at the
1997 World Championships. Jaret has posted an incredible season to
date, winning World Cup stops in Fort Lauderdale, Moscow, Vancouver,
Portland and Sacramento. In order for Bruce Neville (AUS) to
overtake Jaret, Bruce must place 1st and Jaret must place 5th or
lower at this weekend's Arena Masters in Italy. If not, Jaret will
take the World Cup Jump Title.

Also competing at this weekend's Arena Masters in Italy will be
Canadian jumper Jim Clunie (Tisdale, SK). Clunie currently sits in
9th spot in the World Cup standings.

Stay tuned for results of the Arena Masters and the final 1998 World
Cup Standings!
