With summer already here, the S.W.S.A. is well on its way to achieving its goals as set out in its Marketing and Business Development Plan. Membership numbers are already surpassing last year's total and we have a host of new corporate partners - way to go Verona! Remember to sponsor new members and be eligible for the end of season Wakeboard Draw.
I have a good news/bad news item to pass on to you at this time. First the bad news - Mike Lieffers has handed in his resignation as V.P. Wakeboard for the S.W.S.A. Good news - Mike has been employed by the S.W.S.A. as the second coach travelling to parks and resorts this summer on a Friday to Sunday basis. Congrats Mike! (Mike will still be handling the wakeboard duties - unofficially that is!!)
Take a good look at the Travelling Clinic schedules and Calendar of Events - plenty of opportunity for you to 'get wet' this summer! In closing, I'd like to extend an invitation to all members, skiers and non-skiers alike, to 'check out' the S.W.S.A.'s premier event - the Provincial Championships in Saskatoon. Come and see what all the excitement's about!!
