This used to be the Canadian Water Ski Page and included links and other jump off spots related to waterskiing. Now that Waterski Canada and the Ontario Water Ski Association have their own sites this will transform into my own personal waterski site. For now, the links and pages below will remain in place to give people a chance to to discover the new sites. Eventually this page will transform into my personal interest waterski page. As best as I can I will try to keep all sub pages in place for a number of years in case people find them useful or have bookmarks to them.

Water Skiing:

Today waterskiing means more than it used to. In the past the three traditional events, slalom skiing, trick skiing and jumping, made up what was called water skiing. Today an number of new divisions are part of the general term water skiing. Barefoot skiing, kneeboarding, wakeboarding, show skiing, tubing and ski racing are all part of the sport of water skiing. Even these new disciplines can be examined in more detail. Barefoot skiing includes barefoot starts, barefoot wake crossings, barefoot tricks, and barefoot jumping. Kneeboarding includes trick and slalom kneeboarding.

Whatever your interest in the sports that make up water skiing, I hope you can find some useful information here.
