The first issue was published as Utopus Discovers the MLA,

of Texas Arlington. Title changed to Utopus Discovered
with no. 2 (May 1976). No. 3 (December 1976) and no. 4 (September
1977) all edited by Kenneth M. Roemer at the University of Texas
Arlington. It was then incorporated in Alternative Futures
and published as "News Center", edited by Kenneth M. Roemer, appearing
as follows: 1, no. 1 (Spring 1978): 105-117; 1, no. 3-4 (Fall 1978):

"News Center" edited by Dennis Livingston.) After the demise of
Alternative Futures, Utopus Discovered resumed as a separate
publication with new series no. 1 (Spring 1986) edited by Kenneth
M. Roemer at the University of Texas Arlington, who edited it through
no. 5 (Spring 1988). From Winter 1989 through Winter 1993 the numbering
was dropped and it was edited by Carol M. Kolmerten at Hood College.
From Spring 1993 through 1995 it was edited by Richard Toby Widdicombe
at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Since 1995 it has been edited
by Carrie Hintz, University of Toronto and Nicole Pohl, University
of London.
Note: In a number of the titles
Ursula K. Le Guin's name was incorrectly set as LeGuin. I have silently
corrected this error where it occurs.
