• Designed and implemented the integration of local NeXT and HP 9000 networks, using NFS and NIS. This required porting various software (e.g. timed) to the HP machines, and the development of custom login scripts.
• Directed a study of non-equilibrium Monte Carlo algorithms

• Studied sound propagation in solids and structural properties of glasses, using both analytic and numerical simulation methods.
• Designed and tested new computational methods for studying equilibrium corrrelation functions and the dynamics of phase transitions.
