• BUS TRIP DOWNTOWN, Monday, June 2
at 6:30 p.m.
The bus will take people to the following spots, with pick up around 10:30
p.m.:
1. Yorkville (University and Bloor area)
2. Eaton Centre (Dundas and Yonge)
3. Distillery District (historical area with outdoor cafes and restaurants,
near
Parliament St.)
There are NO organized activities for participants.
• Health
Promotion Summer School takes place at the
Institute for Learning (BMO IFL)
(Pharmacy and
Steeles, in northeastern
corner of Toronto).
• For those
not booked at the Sheraton, you will
be residing at the IFL
Go to main desk of IFL and state your name.
• Those staying at the Sheraton will find a room
booked for them.
• The Coordinator (Lisa) will be there from Saturday 3 p.m. Ask at
main
desk at IFL if you are having problems and cannot find her.
• Sunday
Preschool A starts at 10:30 a.m.
and B and C at 1:30 p m.
• Monday
program starts at 9:00 a.m.
• Registration
is Monday at 8:00 a.m. (or on Sunday).
You will receive
a registration package when you register.
• You
will find a Summer School registration
desk
in
the main lobby on Sunday and Monday.
• Those
staying at the IFL and at the
Sheraton can eat their supper
(for the night booked)
at the IFL
(buffet closes at 8 p.m.).
• Those
staying at the Sheraton - breakfast is
available
at the Sheraton or at the IFL.
• There
will be a shuttle from the Sheraton to
the IFL at 7:30 a.m. Monday morning.
• For
those taking a train from the east, please
get off at Guildwood station
and take taxi
from there
to IFL or Sheraton.
• There
is no smoking whatsoever at the IFL. If
you wish to be have
a smoking room please contact
the HPSS
Coordinator.
• Those
attending French-language sessions
and receiving subsidies:
you will receive an
expense
form from committee members during session.
Reimbursement will be sent within 6 weeks of
submission of form.
