Training

Training, in the form of hands-on experience and appropriate documentation will be required by both the local electronic mail administrators and their associated users to make full use of the electronic mail resource. To maximize training and staff resources, a client aggregation strategy could be adopted. This would mean that the training function would provide:

• direct hands-on training for local electronic mail administrators.
• development of materials for local electronic mail administrators to utilize in training their associated electronic mail users, including:
  • videos
  • manuals
  • introductory tutorial material
  Commercial books may exist, depending on the package selected.
• development of online and context-sensitive help
