Deliverables and Providers

It is useful to define the terms ``network service deliverables'', and ``network service provider''. The network service deliverables are a statement of:

• the network service protocol provided at the network service interface.
• the duties and responsibilities of the network service provider (defined below).
• the duties and responsibilities of the client.
• a recommendation or specification of the network service agent.

The network service provider is the organization that provides the technical and administrative infrastructure for a network service.
