Application Procedures

Applicants to the Collaborative Master’s Program in Semiotics must apply to and register in one of the participating graduate units. Applicants must also submit a supplementary application to the collaborative program. In order to qualify for admission into the Collaborative Master’s Program in Semiotics, students must be offered admission to a participating graduate unit. Applicants must forward the following to the Director of the collaborative program:

  1. a copy of the School of Graduate Studies Application Form submitted to a participating graduate unit;
  2. official undergraduate and graduate transcripts from all institutions attended previously and currently;
  3. at least two letters of reference with specific mention of formal training in general and/or applied Semiotics;
  4. a statement of purpose.

Decisions on admission to the Collaborative Program will be made by the Program Director in conjunction with a sub-committee appointed by the Program Committee.
