Thanks to Tom Trusky at Boise State university, I've been able to fill in much of the details from the photos section on the biography page.
Many other minor corrections and changes throughout the website, too numerous and many not significant enough to warrant special listing here (ie: spelling mistakes, etc).
Mar. 27, 1997:
More publicity! Another article about the WebSite and the whole 299Y Research Opportunity Program, this time from the Varsity. A reprint of the article is available.
The News page has been revamped in liu of the increasing material. Rather than simply displaying one article on it, the News page now acts as a menu, much like the biography page, where you can choose what you would like to see.
Mar. 17, 1997:
Our website has been featured in an article about Nell Shipman and Prof. Kay Armatage in the University of Toronto newpaper the Bulletin. A reprint of the article is available.
Mar. 15, 1997:
Added several more articles by Prof. Kay Armatage to the bibliography page.
Removed all the in-page pictures, as they were slowing down the loading process. They have all been moved to the photograph archive in the biography section.
An on-line ordering form for Nell Shipman's films, autobiography, and other works is now up.
Modified the way the photos and maps are loaded to allow people who's frames don't work independently to flip forward and back between the menu & the images.
Created the option that if the user encounters a region that is still being updated, they can leave an email message and they will be notified when that part of the site is operational.
Jan. 19, 1997:
Listed the photographs and added a caption for each.
Corrected the title for one of the biographies on the biography page.
Jan. 18, 1997:
Scanned in all the photos and maps related to Nell Shipman and her films. If you have other photos, could you please email me about them.
Created this What's New page and the aformentioned photograph page.
Split the biography page into a multi-level page, with the various subsections budding off of it, rather than one long page.
Added the newsgroups section to the related links page.
