N. N. Strakhov

1871 – Met Nikolai Strakhov (1828-1896), who became his close intellectual companion and a friend of the family until his death in 1896. Strakhov wrote excellent articles about Tolstoy's fiction, and the correspondence between the two is one of the best sources we have of Tolstoy's ideas.
