Tolstoy and Wanda Landowska

The well-known harpsichordist and pianist Wanda Landovska (1879-1959) performed for Tolstoy three times in Iasnaia Poliana: in December, 1907, and January and December, 1909. Tolstoy's diary notes indicate that he was not particularly impressed by her playing.
