Central and Inner Asia Studies : 12th Annual Conference

In 2009, the CIAS conference was held in Toronto in conjunction with The Central Eurasian Studies Society (CESS), meeting from 8 to 11 October. The theme was: Nomads, Past and Current: Living on the Move.

Funds permitting, the proceedings of the 2008 and 2009 conferences will be published in due course in Toronto Studies in Central and Inner Asia, volume 10.

We regret that we do not have the financial resources to help with any transportation or accommodation costs. However, we will do our best to expedite visa applications and provide advice concerning accommodation. We look forward to hosting another stimulating group of sessions in Toronto in October.
