Liran Harsgor's main research interests are political behaviour, public opinion and electoral politics. Liran completed her PhD in the Department of Political Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2017. Her doctoral dissertation focused on formative experiences and generational differences in political attitudes. In the past seven years, Liran has been part of a comparative research project, led by Professor Orit Kader and funded by the European Research Council, which examines how electoral districts affect representation and party systems, focusing on district magnitude as the main explanatory factor. At the University of Toronto, Dr. Harsgor is working with Professor Neil Nevitte (Department of Political Science). Her project is titled "Formative Experiences and Their Political Consequences: The Role of Generations in the Explanation of Political Behavior." Dr. Harsgor will be at the University of Toronto between September 2017 and August 2018.

Ziv Rubin has a PhD in Geography from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem and a BA in Economics and Geography from Tel Aviv University. His PhD, set in the context of the Israeli “Housing Crisis”, explored the major policy constraints on housing supply in Israel, focusing on centralized government land control, district level planning and municipality fiscal condition. In parallel with his studies, Ziv was involved in policy oriented research in two prominent Israeli think tanks, working on socio-economic, housing market, urban and regional development and national and local fiscal issues. As a Halbert Post-Doctoral Fellow, Ziv Rubin will be working on the research project titled “Supply Side Constraints in the Israeli Housing Market” under the supervision of Professor Shiri Breznitz, Associate Professor at the Munk School of Global Affairs.
