The SOG Annual General Meeting - October 6, 2004

This Annual General Meeting celebrated the class of '79's achievements. A banner year for the graduating class of 25 years ago: this class seems to comprise one of the highest number of hospital CEOs in recent years.

Society of Graduates in HPME- 2003-04 Annual Report

We have had a banner year, exceeding many of our goals directed at keeping you connected to your past, present and future in health administration. Here are a few of the highlights;

  • Issued a grant to the Department of HPME - $5,000
  • Sponsored Pre-Convocation Brunch - Class of 2004
  • Improved investment strategies to maximize returns
  • Achieved a 20% profit margin
  • Improved content of Newsletter & increased frequency of distribution
  • Achieved attendance targets for Education Day
  • Partnership with CCHSE-Toronto Chapter to plan a second educational event– "Does Culture Eat Strategy for Breakfast?"
  • Increased literary award nominations by 40%
  • Improved attendance at Executive Committee Meetings by 16%
  • Increased paid membership by 18%
  • Actively locating "lost graduates"
  • Developed decision-making criteria for funding requests
