CCHL/HPME Professional Education Event 2011 – 24 February 2011
Ethics for Leaders: What Keeps You Up at Night? That’s the provocative title of this year’s professional education event, co-sponsored with the GTA chapter of the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
Join us for this stimulating half-day event. Speakers will explore common ethical challenges leaders face when allocating scarce resources and fundraising. The "right ways" to do business will also be discussed, including practical examples of how things can – ethically speaking – go terribly wrong.

HPME Research Day 2011 – 4 May 2011
SOG is a proud sponsor of this year’s HPME Research Day. This stimulating annual event showcases research conducted by HPME students and faculty. Alumni are welcome to attend, and it’s a great way to see firsthand some of the significant and innovative studies underway at U of T.
This year's keynote speaker is Sir Michael Rawlins, the chairman of the National Institute of Health & Clinical Excellence in the United Kingdom.

Each spring, HPME alumni look forward to Education Day. It’s an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in leading-edge health services research and innovation, as well as to catch up and network with fellow graduates.
This year’s theme will be How the Media Shape Healthcare Policy.

Health Services Research Seminars – Winter/Spring 2011
Continue learning with HPME’s Health Services Research Seminars. The theme of the 2010-2011 series is eHealth Today: The Facts and the Vision.
Delivered by a wide variety of world-renowned experts in the eHealth field, these presentations will deepen your understanding of the many potential benefits of eHealth. You will also learn about the challenges facing successful implementation, as well as about the prospects for the future.
Each seminar is free and open to the public. No reservation is required.
Usually held on Wednesday, approximately once a month, the most up-to-date schedule is available online.
GTA Rehab Network’s Best Practices Day 2011 – 7 March 2011
The GTA Rehab Network invites you and your colleagues to attend its Best Practices Day 2011.
This year’s event will focus on the theme of Infusing the Principles of Rehabilitation across the Care Continuum. In addition to keynote addresses by Alex Jadad and Greg Noack, the day features concurrent sessions led by top experts as well as posters from across Ontario.
