GOVERNANCE
The Centre for the Study of the United States has the following governance structure:
The program committee consists of Americanist faculty members from the University of Toronto who meet with the Director twice per year to discuss CSUS programming and the undergraduate American Studies program. The composition of the committee is determined by the Director of CSUS. For the academic year 2014-15, members of the Program Committee included the following faculty members:
Jordan Bear (History of Art); Carol Chin (History/Internatioinal Relations); Joshua Gang (English); Emily Gilbert (Geography); Pamela Klassen (Religion); Robert Lewis (Geography); Kass Banning (Cinema Studies); Dana Seitler (Sexual Diversity Studies); Robert Vipond (Political Science); and Lisa Yoneyama (Women and Gender Studies).
The CSUS Director reports to the Director of the Munk School of Global Affairs (Dr. Janice Gross Stein).
