Research: Angelo is studying translational repression of the smaug mRNA during oogenesis as well as the role of the Smaug RNA-binding protein in the germ plasm and primordial germ cells of the early embryo.
Management: Angelo manages the Toronto FlyFood Facility, which produces Drosophila media for 20 research labs in downtown Toronto.
