Hans Möller (1918 - 2015)

Born and educated in Copenhagen, Hans was a Research Librarian at the Copenhagen Royal Library, including the department containing Hans Christian Andersen's manuscripts. In 1977, he came to Montreal as Librarian, Professor of Scandinavian Literature and Director of Libraries at McGill University. He also enjoyed teaching Danish & editing scholarly books in the FONTANUS series, which he founded, and was instrumental in housing the Kiekegaard-Malantschuk collection gifted to McGill, through Akastair McKinnon. He was a presenter at the Kierkegaard Circle.
