I will consider the particular problem that the fact of death poses for meaning in human life. Specifically, it is our death that both makes the meaningfulness of life an issue (and hence is the condition of the possibility of meaning) and rules out any ultimate resolution of meaning (and hence is the condition of the impossibility of meaning). |
