Alexandra Mijailovic Attends Summer Institute in Tanzania

Dr. Alexandra Mijailovic, HPME PhD student in Clinical Epidemiology, and co-researcher Catherine Nansamba of Uganda, were selected to attend the 2 nd Annual Summer Institute for New Global Health Researchers. They were among 11 teams of researchers chosen out of 50 applicants. The event took place at the Ifakara Health Research and Development Centre in Tanzania in July 2005. The Summer Institute is an initiative of the Canadian Coalition for Global Health Research.
