Slavonica & Slovo: Two Slavic Studies Journals by Maney Publishing
Slavonica was founded in 1983 under the title Scottish Slavonic Review, and changed to the present title in 1994. It has established itself as one of the leading international journals in the field of Slavonic and East European studies. From the beginning of 2003, and Volume 9, the journal will be published by Maney Publishing. Slavonica has an international advisory board and is interdisciplinary in its approach, publishing original research in the fields of Russian, Central and East European Studies by scholars throughout the world.
Each issue contains around thirty specialist book reviews commissioned from experts the world over on a wide range of topics: economics, history, politics, drama, arts and music.
Slavonica is a twice-yearly publication and all articles are refereed. Please see our website for further details: www.maney.co.uk
Slovo discusses and interprets Russian, Eastern and Central European, and Eurasian affairs from a number of different perspectives including, but not limited to, anthropology, art, economics, film, history, international studies, linguistics, literature, media, philosophy, politics, and sociology.
Slovo is a fully refereed journal, edited and managed by postgraduates of the School of Slavonic and East European Studies, University College London. Each year a new Editorial Board is selected from the postgraduate community to produce two volumes of academic depth and rigour, considering articles, book, and film review submissions from both established and emerging academics. Slovo is now published in two issues a year. Please see our website for further details: www.maney.co.uk
