Graduate Trainees

Awards were established to stimulate creative inquiry for both new researchers within IHPME and in non-traditional health services research departments. The Awards spurred innovation in knowledge creation via dissertations and term projects in concert with decision-maker partners. These students were supervised by Coyte and participated fully in all of the Chair's education, research and linkage and exchange activities.

Innovative mentorship opportunities for the other grantees included participation in the International Collaborative Research Workshop; guest lectureships in the Chair’s graduate courses, “Health Economics 1” and “Health Care and Place” and Dr. Coyte’s supervision of a research paper on Aging and Place.
