CHSRF CAN! Manuscript Review Group (MRG)

Objective

To provide collegial support to CHSRF CAN! members who are preparing manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals. The objective will be accomplished by establishing a peer review structure, in which Network Members will review the final draft of the manuscript and offer constructive comments to authors.

Process to establish MRG

The CHSRF CAN! board will announce a call for volunteer reviewers on the Network Website.
Facilitator(s) for MRG will be elected by the board.
A broadcast message announcing the MRG will be sent to all Network members

Review Structure

All network members can submit their article for MRG review. The manuscript must be in the form that is ready for submission to peer-reviewed journals.
The MRG facilitator(s) will contact 2-3 volunteer reviewers to provide feedback on the article. The written comments should be sent to the corresponding facilitator within 4 weeks.
Authors will receive a blind copy of the comments from the peer reviewers.
