CHSRF CAN! Manuscript Review Group (MRG)

Objective

To provide collegial support to CHSRF CAN! members who are preparing manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals. The objective will be accomplished by establishing a peer review structure, in which Network Members will review the final draft of the manuscript and offer constructive comments to authors.

Process to establish MRG

  • The CHSRF CAN! board will announce a call for volunteer reviewers on the Network Website.
  • Facilitator(s) for MRG will be elected by the board.
  • A broadcast message announcing the MRG will be sent to all Network members

Review Structure

  • All network members can submit their article for MRG review. The manuscript must be in the form that is ready for submission to peer-reviewed journals.
  • The MRG facilitator(s) will contact 2-3 volunteer reviewers to provide feedback on the article. The written comments should be sent to the corresponding facilitator within 4 weeks.
  • Authors will receive a blind copy of the comments from the peer reviewers.
